Fri, Feb 27: Today at 3 p.m., our Law Clinic will host an Information Session on Immigration Administrative Relief in English and Spanish.

Mon., Mar. 2: Young Professionals (YP@IH) social at Evening Muse. More info.

Sat., Mar. 14: At this month's Storytime young readers will create puppets for a puppet show! Families with kids pre-K to 10 are invited. More info.

Sat., March 28:  Children's World of Play at ImaginOn. Noon to 4 p.m. More info

Mar 21 - Apr 11:  High school youth ambassadors from Chile and Argentina will visit Charlotte. Through a U.S. State Department initiative, they'll learn about youth empowerment, volunteerism and leadership. We're looking for families with teenagers to host our 17 guests.  Hosting teens are invited to participate in all meetings and workshops.  For more information, please contact Johnelle Caswell at jcauswell@ihclt.org.

Citizen diplomacy efforts are in high gear this winter. The countries and plans include:

Law enforcement personnel will meet fellow professionals for a cultural exchange and professional development.

Museum curators will meet their peers and visit area museums.

Chile & Argentina
March 21 - April 11 

Youth Ambassadors are coming to learn about youth empowerment, volunteerism and leadership. We have 17 teenagers who will visit. Do you have teens in your family? Consider being a Home Host and your teen can participate in the workshops, too.

Afghanistan
March 24-28

Our guests will join others in our community to host an interfaith dialogue.
