Community Connections, a program of International
House and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is a
professional training program for participants from the Republics of the former
Soviet Union. This home stay-based program lasts three to five weeks..
In 2004, we hosted the following delegations:
- "Historic and Cultural Preservation" group from
Russia in January
- "Business" group from Moldova in March
- "Education" group from Belarus in May
- "Diversity in Religion" group from Kazakhstan in
July
- "Youth Advocacy" group from Russia in November
In 2005, we hosted the following delegations:
- "Education Administration" group from
Kazakhstan in March
- "Work with Disabled" group from Ukraine in Jue
In 2006, we will host the following delegations:
- "HIV/AIDS:Combating Stigma and Discrimination" group from
Ukraine in July
