Intercultural Connections is a new program offered to the Charlotte
community highlighting the arts and history of diverse cultures in
Mecklenburg County, encouraging understanding and promoting tolerance. The
six-event program will highlight three cultural clusters (Latin American,
Middle Eastern and African) present in the Charlotte area, cultures
traditionally under-represented or misrepresented.This project is made
possible, in part, through a Community Cultural Connections grant from the
Arts&Science Council and the Grassroots Program of the North Carolina Arts
Council.
