International House, in partnership with Galilee Ministries of East Charlotte collected fresh produce and quarters. Over 80 pounds of fresh produce was donated for the remote learning CMS students and over $20 of quarters were donated for the clients at Refugee Support Services for laundry services.
We have continued to collect food, hosting two separate canned food drives that benefitted the refugee and immigrant families from the Briarwood and Merry Oaks communities.
