Welcome, Lucie!

Meet Lucie Paradis our new AmeriCorps Service Member. She joins us from Duke University's NC LiteracyCorps program to help build the capacity and impact of community organizations, Lucie is serving within our Education Department for 2021-2022.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Lucie is a graduate of the Dual Bachelor program between Columbia University in New York and Sciences Po in Reims, France, having studied Human Rights, Education, and Economics. During university, she had the opportunity to complete internships with education and citizenship-focused organizations in Vietnam and Bosnia & Herzegovina, strengthening her global mindset. Most recently, Lucienne served within another AmeriCorps program as a Public Allies Teaching Fellow at Eagle Rock School in Colorado, obtaining her alternative teaching license in 8-12 ELA and supporting the school’s central values of anti-racism and social justice.
